Jharsuguda: After a video of a cop slapping a person in Jharsuguda town went viral on social media, Jharsuguda SP Rahul P.R. ordered an inquiry into the matter.

In a statement, the Jharsuguda SP said further action will be taken based on the findings.

In the video, a police officer is seen slapping a motorcyclist as he failed to provide valid reasons for coming out on the road during a lockdown in Jharsuguda town. The video went viral on social media prompting the Jharsuguda SP to order a probe today.
