Videocon Telecom plans to invest Rs.340 crore

New Delhi, Jan 7:

Videocon Telecom plans to invest over Rs.340 crore in the next one year for rollout of internet service provider (ISP) services in six to seven circles, the company said Wednesday.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Jan 6 granted to the company a unified license to provide Internet services all over India.

The investment shall include cost of ISP license, cost of Network deployment and investment in hot spots, a company statement said.

The company plans to prioritize its ISP rollout starting with its existing GSM mobility circles including Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh including Chhattisgarh and then move to metros. (IANS)
