Villagers demand repolling at Athagarh booths in Odisha

Villagers of Anantapur and Berhampur under Athagarh block in Cuttack district of Odisha today demanded the State Election Commission (SEC) for repolling at various booths alleging booth capture by goons of the local MLA yesterday.

The villagers alleged that some supporters of the local MLA forced the voters out of booths at booth no 1, 2 and 4 in Anantapur village and booth no 7 and 8 in Berhampur village under Dhurusia panchayat and cast all votes.

They demanded the SEC to conduct repolling at the above mentioned booths.
