Viral video: Hostel warden arrested for beating inmates in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: After a shocking video showing a hostel warden beating two students for poor results surfaced on social media, police arrested warden Biswaranjan Rana today.

The Khandagiri police have arrested the warden of Gandhi Science College for his alleged involvement in incident. The  warden was arrested by the police after the college authorities filed a complaint against him.

The incident had occurred on August 11 when Rana was caught on camera beating two +2 students, who were from Keonjhar and Jajpur districts, with a stick on premises of the hostel.
