Viral video on mysteries of Puri Jagannath temple continues to inspire awe

Bhubaneswar: The bedrock of faith and religious belief of the people of Odisha is the sacrosanct temple of Lord Jagannath in Shree Khetra (also known as Puri). It is the single-point destination of devotion, doctrine and conviction that dominates the psyche of the devotees, who flock to this 12th century shrine in the coastal district of Odisha.

Jagannath temple, apart from being a holy locale in the country is also an architectural enigma that seemingly defies scientific and logical explanation. Many occurrences and phenomena on the temple premises are shrouded in mystery till today, in spite of all the scientific, technological and empirical advancement mankind has made, the believers opine.
