Vodafone’s new Rs 159 recharge plan offers unlimited calls, 28GB data; check details

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to take on Reliance Jio and Airtel, telecom giant Vodafone has introduced a new recharge plan for its customers across India.

The new Vodafone pack of Rs 159 will offer benefits like unlimited voice calling and large amounts of data. “Under the offer, customers can avail 1 GB data, free voice calling and 100 SMS per day for 28 days,” said a company official. However, the voice calling benefits comes with a cap of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.

Vodafone has introduced the recharge plan across all 4G circles in India. Through the prepaid recharge plan, the company strives to compete with Airtel and Jio’s existing Rs 149 plans.

Reliance Jio Rs 149 plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, 1.5GB of 4G data per day for validity of 28 days. Similarly, Airtel’s Rs. 149 plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages and 1GB data per day for a validity of 28 days.
