Was Sidharth Shukhla winning Bigg Boss 13 fixed?
Bhubaneswar: Bigg Boss 13 that turned out to be one of the most entertaining and ‘controversial’ seasons in the history of the show has once again grabbed media attention after an employee of Colors TV alleged that the show’s result was fixed.
The TV reality show wrapped up after 149 days on Saturday. On the grand finale, it declared Sidharth Shukla as the winner of the season. Although many of the viewers were expecting Sidharth’s victory, controversies fumed after Feriha, who claimed to be a member of the creative team of Colors TV, alleged that the show had deliberately fixed the results.
Feriha took to social networking site Twitter saying she decided to quit her job at Colors TV. “I had a tremendous time working with the creative department but I can’t demean myself being part of a fixed show. The channel is keen on making Siddharth Shukla the Winner despite less votes. Sorry, I can’t be part of it,” she tweeted.
Mentioning the names of the creative team members along with their pictures in a Twitter post she wrote, “They decided the “Fixed Winner” of Bigg Boss 13. They played with your emotions and disrespected your votes.”
To back her claim, Feriha shared a video from the control room during the telecast of the grand finale in which a woman is heard saying that the announcement will be predictable because Sidharth and Asim had received equal votes.

After the news went viral, Colors TV today posted a clarification note on Twitter denying Feriya’s association with the Channel.

When asked to respond over being called a ‘fixed winner’, Sidharth Shukla said that he felt sorry for the people who have such thoughts and if they had followed the season, they would have known that his journey wasn’t easy in the house.
Elsewhere, ex-contestant and finalist Asim also denied the allegations saying that the show was real and nothing was fixed.
However, viewers have not led the matter to rest and through Twitter, demanded proper clarification from the Channel regarding the allegation.
