[Watch]: 17 feet-long python rescued from private farm in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A 17 feet-long python was rescued today by some locals while the reptile was roaming in a private farm in Achhanda village of Dhenkanal district.

The python will be handed over to Dhenkanal forest department and with their assistance it will be released into Kapilash sanctuary, a snake rescuer Soumyajit Rath said.

According to a source, the gigantic reptile was spotted on the farm owned by one Nari Behera.

Locals thronged Achhanda village after news of python’s rescue spread.
