[Watch] Battle of supremacy: Dog-snake bite each other, die

Berhampur: Dogs have always been faithful to their masters. Such an incident has been reported from a village in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

A stray dog died while fighting a venomous snake at Randa Bazaar under Rangeilunda block in the district. The incident occurred at around 12.00 pm today when a cobra was trying to sneak into a mobile phone shop.

The white dog, who was alert enough to stop the intrusion, prevented the snake from entering into the premises. The brave dog jumped in front of the reptile and fought till its last breath. Bitten by the deadly cobra, the dog succumbed to the snakebite. The dog put up a strong fight as it retaliated hard despite being injured.

Eyewitnesses said that the fight between two lasted for around one hour. The panicked locals did not go closer to the spot to rescue the duo, rather filmed the scene on smartphones.
