[Watch] Deepika Padukone crying on sets of Dance+ 5

Mumbai:  Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s  ‘Chhapaak’, broke into tears on the sets of the Dance+ 5, a dancing competition-cum-reality show on Star Plus.

The ‘Piku’ actress recently visited the Dance + sets to promote her upcoming movie. However, she broke into tears after the contestants dedicated a dance to her on the stage.  A video clip shared by Star Plus showed the contestants performing to a compilation of Deepika’s hit dance numbers. They danced to music tracks like ‘Diwani Mastani’, ‘Banke Titli’ and ‘Nagada Sang Dhol’.

Though Deepika was found enjoying the performances and grooving from her seat initially during the show, the last performance by all dancers on ‘Ghumar’  overwhelmed the actress and she broke into tears. Super judge Remo D’Souza gave her a hug to comfort her. Deepika gave a standing ovation to the dancers and thanked them for the tribute.

Addressing all the dancers on stage, Deepika said, “I had not given much thought about the work I have been doing. I just kept working on and on. Today, after seeing your performances, I realize that perhaps I have done some good work. So, thank you so much.”
