[Watch] Devotees throng Lord Shiv shrines across Odisha on Maha Shivratri

Bhubaneswar: Lord Shiv shrines across Odisha witnessed congregation of devotees on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, today.

The festival is being celebrated at Lord Shiv temples in the state amid adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.

At the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, limited number of devotees will be permitted to sit on the temple premises in the evening for lighting diyas and observing jagara. The Mahadeepa is scheduled to be lifted atop the temple at 10 pm. While the devotees will not be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum for offering puja today, they can get darshan of the deity from Ada Katha.
