Bhubaneswar: Amidst the current lockdown situation in the wake of coronavirus that has so far killed over 16,000 in several countries, French-Odissi danseuse Mahina Khanum, who is known for her innovative methods of infusing classical dance forms with technological tools among the international audience, has released a short video to spread awareness on the deadly virus.
During the COVID-19 lockdown in France, the danseuse took to social media site Twitter to share the video showcasing simple steps to slow down the virus.
“In this time of lockdown in France, I am confined at home for weeks. Here is a short video to stay creative and sane!,” she wrote in her tweet. She added, “Let’s spread the word about the ‘barrier gestures’. These simple steps can slow the virus and save lives.”
