(Watch): Headmaster drinks liquor during school hours in Odisha’s Boudh; video goes viral

Harbhanga: Headmaster of upper primary (UP) school in Jabar village of Mahalikpada panchayat under Harbhanga block in Boudh district is seen in a video while drinking liquor inside the educational institution and the video went viral today on different social media platforms.

In the viral video, the teacher is seen sitting on the floor along with one of his friends and glasses filled with liquor and Chakhana (eatables) kept on it. No trace of files or any other official document is there in the government-run school room, a source said.

A local resident has captured the video through his mobile phone. However, the date exactly when the bizarre incident took place has not been ascertained yet, the source added.

As the camera moves on, children sitting in a classroom are also seen.

The man shooting the video is heard asking the headmaster, “It is already the time to eat. When the schoolchildren will have their mid-day meal then?”

To this, the headmaster replied, “I was not doing anything.”
