[Watch] Kapil Sharma’s ode to his father on Netflix Stand-up special; sings in English

Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Popular comedian of the Television industry Kapil Sharma recently paid a musical tribute to his late father Jeetendra Kumar on the sets of his latest Netflix special stand-up comedy show ‘Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet.’

Kapil who has always been hesitant to converse with his audience and his celebrity friends and acquaintance in English, was seen singing an English song ‘Because You’re Watching’ for his father and that was a first.

Fans of the comedy star already know that he is a talented singer. But, they may never have expected to hear him crooning an English song.

A two-and-a-half minute video clip of Kapil’s musical tribute to his father was shared on his YouTube channel today. Within a couple of hours, the video hit over 67k views and the comment section was flooded with love and appreciation from fans for the comedy star’s performance.

While some of the users mentioned in the comment section that they have been listening to the song on repeat mode, some others lauded Kapil’s emotional gesture towards his late father. Many others felt that every word in the song was melodious yet hard-hitting.
