Watch: Odisha Collector helps Anganwadi students wear slippers

Sundargarh: Surendra Kumar Meena, Sundargarh Collector, seems to be emerging as a role model and source of inspiration for bureaucrats as the official visited an Anganwadi Centre in the district and distributed footwears among the students who lacked the same.

The Collector, who visited Duduka Anganwadi Centre in Hemagiri block of the district, helped the students to wear slippers and distributed utensils and study materials among them. Accompanied by some officials of the district administration, Meena also interacted with the students.

The official had recently reached a remote village in the district by riding pillion and took stock of implementation of development schemes in the locality.
