Nabarangpur: In an exemplary act, Dabugam MLA Manohar Randhari and his associates carried a pregnant woman on a sling for 6 km to make her reach hospital in Papadahandi area of Odisha's Nabarangpur district.

The legislator had gone to a remote village in the region, during which an expectant woman was undergoing labour pain in the locality. As arrival of ambulance was not possible due to non-motorable road, the MLA and his associates carried the woman on a sling for 6 km scaling hilly terrain.

Later, Randhari took the woman to Papadahandi hospital in his car. The MLA's 'heart-winning' effort has been praised by many.
