[Watch] Odisha MLA Sura Routray shakes a leg in debut ‘Rangabati’ song

Bhubaneswar: Jatani MLA and veteran Congress leader Suresh Kumar Routray, popularly known as Sura Routray, has donned a new avatar in his debut Odia song ‘Rangabati’, for which he has rapped. The legislator can also be seen dancing to the beat in the music video with his signature lines Madichala and Ready Ta.

Routray, who is known for cornering and attacking the state government with his sarcastic and witty comments, had lent his voice for the song at Milan Studio in Cuttack. The number has been composed by music director Japani.

Produced by Armaan Music, the song has been written by Tapu Nayak and sung by Barnali Hota and Jyotirmayee.

The music director clarified that the ‘Rangabati’ song is no way related to the popular Sambalpuri folk song having the same title.
