Watch: Over hundred baby cobras rescued from house in Odisha

Bhadrak: The snake helpline members today rescued over a hundred baby cobra snakes from a resident’s house here in the district.

The locals rushed to the house to see large number of baby cobras following rescue.

The incident was reported from Paika Sahi at Shyamsundarpur village under Dhamnagar police limits in Bhadrak district where more than hundred of baby cobras were rescued from the house of Bijay Bhuyan.

According to reports, the family members of Bhuyan panicked after spotting a number of baby cobras inside the house. Bhuyan immediately informed the snake helpline members for rescue of the poisonous baby snakes.

Receiving call from Bhuyan, the snake helpline members reached the spot and rescued over a hundred baby snakes.

It is suspected that the snake hatchlings were born out of the eggs laid by a female cobra inside termite mounds spotted at the house.
