Puri: While Puri is soon to become the place where Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm 'FANI' will make landfall tomorrow afternoon, Odias across the state are imploring each other to not panic.

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik has carved a sand sculpture on the beach here, to appeal to the people of Odisha to stay calm in the face of this natural disaster.

The Padma Shri recipient has built the structure of the storm complete with spiral rain bands, the eye wall and the eye of the storm bearing the words, 'Don't Panic! Stay Safe... Cyclone Fani'

He also posted a video appealing to those in the coastal areas to adhere to the warnings issued by the state government and prayed to Lord Jagannath for everyone's safety.
