[Watch]: Tourists create ruckus at Konark Sun Temple over delay in availing tickets

Konark: Waiting for hours in scorching heat at the entrance point of the Sun Temple in Konark in Odisha’s Puri district led to an unwanted situation today.

Hundreds of tourists, who were standing in sun-heat outside the temple, created a ruckus near the ticket counter alleging delay in availing online and offline tickets to enter the 13th-century monument.

Expressing strong outrage against the temple authorities for such an act, the tourists barged through the ticket scanner gates.

A large number of tourists flocked to the Konark temple on Sunday. According to reports, the intervention of the ASI personnel into alleged black ticket sales by some local ticket brokers and temple officials delayed the smooth process for entry of tourists into the site. Unable to bear the heat for hours, the tourists entered the temple evading rules.
