Bhubaneswar: Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most-adored superhero ‘Groot’ is returning to screens with a brand new animated series ‘I Am Groot.’

Marvel Studios made the announcement on Friday and shared trailer of ‘I Am Groot’ on their social media verticals.

Actors Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper’s voices will be featured in the upcoming animated series. While Vin will be reprising the voice of ‘Baby Groot’, Bradley will be heard as Rocket.

‘I Am Groot’ is a collection of five original shorts, written by Kirsten Lepore and Ryan Little. The Lepore’s directorial and Marvel Studios production is scheduled to premiere on Disney Plus on August 10.

Groot has been one of the most-loved MCU characters. Apart from being an integral character in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise, it has made cameos in ‘Avengers-Infinity War’, ‘Avengers-Endgame’ and ‘Thor-Love and Thunder’.
