Watch Video: Odisha man tied to moving truck for stealing mobile phone

Bhubaneswar: A man was reportedly tied to a moving truck as a punishment for stealing mobile phone from the vehicle in Marshaghai area of Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

A video of the incident, which took place couple of days ago, has gone viral on various social media platforms.

According to reports, a man of Tikarpanga area in the district stole a mobile phone from the truck and ran away. He was later nabbed by some truck drivers.

In an act on punishment for the offence, they tied him to the front portion of the vehicle, garlanded him with footwears, and drove the truck on a bridge over Mahanadi river at Bhutamundai.

One of them recorded a video of the incident with mobile phone.

No police complaint has been lodged in this connection.
