Watch Video: Odisha youth falls off waterfall while posing for photo

Koraput: Posing for a photo at Galigabadar waterfall in Pottangi area of Odisha’s Koraput district proved costly for a youth as his feet slipped while doing so, following which he fell off the waterfall sustaining critical injuries.

The injured youth, identified as Subrat Nag (24) of Kalahandi, was rushed to Pottangi community health centre and later shifted to the Koraput district headquarters hospital as his condition deteriorated.

The mishap took place while he had gone to the tourist spot with a group of friends. Though the flow of water was minimal, Subrat, unfortunately, slipped while he was posing for photos which were being clicked by his friends.

He is currently undergoing treatment at the district headquarters hospital and his condition is stated to be critical.
