[Watch]Vicky Kaushal’s brother Sunny set to raise audience’s ‘Josh’ this January

Mumbai: Last January India’s ‘Josh’ was high when actor Vicky Kaushal blazed the silver screen as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in Aditya Dhar’s ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. This January, his brother Sunny Kaushal is ready to repeat history with Kabir Khan’s upcoming war drama-documentary ‘The Forgotten Army- Azaadi Ke Liye’.

Amazon Prime Video released a trailer of the documentary today. It is a high voltage web series based on the journey of men and women of the Indian National Army (INA) who fought for the country’s independence under the leadership of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

The trailer of about three minutes features a battalion of resilient Indian soldiers presumably fighting the Japanese and British armed forces. Actor Sunny Kaushal and debutante actress Sharvari’s powerful performances in lead roles and the spine-chilling war cry of the battalion draw a picture  of the brutality the INA faced for the country’s independence.

‘The Forgotten Army’ has been a pet project for Kabir Khan. It is a five-episode web series that is scheduled to release on January 24. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video. With this, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director will make his digital debut.
