Water Resources engineer found dead in govt quarters in Odisha

Bhawanipatna: The body of an assistant executive engineer was recovered under mysterious circumstances from the government quarters in Jaypatna block of Odisha’s Kalahandi district here today. The deceased official was identified as Ranjit Kumar Karji of Subhadrapur in Gunupur block of Rayagada district. He was posted in Mukhiguda as executive engineer (Water Resources).

Police on getting information arrived at the spot. The body was seized and sent to Jaypatna hospital for autopsy. Family members have been informed and the exact cause of death will be established after postmortem, official sources said.
