Bhubaneswar: Amidst rainy weather due to deep depression over Bay of Bengal off north Odisha, several places particularly southern parts of the state may witness intense rainfall today.

"Moderate thundershower and lightning with a few spells of intense rainfall likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Puri, Bhadrak and Khordha including Bhubaneswar," said the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.

Such condition is likely to continue between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm today.
