Weather Alert: Rains to lash these districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today predicted thunderstorm with lightning and rainfall in 21 districts of Odisha.

As per a release issued by the weathermen, thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain are likely to occur at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Jajpur, Angul and very likely to continue at one or two places in Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Nuapada, Balangir, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Boudh, Nayagarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Raygada, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Balasore and Cuttack between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM today.

The centre added surface wind speed gusting up to 30/40 kmph is likely to blow in these districts.
