Weather Alert! Spells of rain to batter 9 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning likely to lash as many as nine districts of Odisha today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional Meteorological Centre here, thunderstorm and lightning will occur in districts like Bargarh, Boudh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Sonepur, Sambalpur and Sundargarh. Spells of heavy rainfall is also likely in one or two places of these districts.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail between 2 pm to 4 pm today, the bulletin added.
