Weather Alert! Thundershower, lightning in 21 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Moderate thundershower and lightning are likely to lash as many as 21 districts of the state today.

“Thunderstorm and lightning will occur in districts like Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bhadrak, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar), Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangapur, Nayagarh, Puri, Raygada, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Sundergarh. Light to moderate rainfall is also likely in one or two places of these districts,” said the latest bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre here.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm today, the weathermen said.
