Weather alert: Thunderstorm, gusty wind likely in these Odisha dists
Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued thunderstorm and gusty wind warning for as many as fifteen districts of Odisha.
The districts likely to be affected are Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Khurda, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH at one or two places of these districts and light to moderate rain over some parts of these areas are likely to occur between 2.30 pm and 6.30 pm today, a release of the meteorological centre said.
People in the regions have been advised to stay indoors or take shelter at safe places during the period.
