Weather Alert: Thunderstorm, lightning in 14 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here has issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for as many as 14 districts in the state today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the MeT centre, moderate thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and light to moderate spells of rainfall is likely to occur at some places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Puri and Jharsuguda.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in the areas till 10.30 AM today, the weathermen added.
