Weather alert: Thunderstorm, rain likely to occur in 13 Odisha dists

Bhubaneswar: As many as 13 districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm and rainfall today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

Moderate thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rainfall are likely to continue at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Baragarh, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Angul, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Malkangiri and Koraput, a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.

The weather conditions are likely to prevail in these regions between 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm, the bulletin added.
