Weather forecast: Heavy rain, thunderstorm to occur in 7 Odisha districts this afternoon

Bhubaneswar: As many as seven districts of Odisha are likely to witness spells of rainfall and thunderstorm, according to the prediction of Indian Meteorological Department.

Light thunderstorm and lightning is likely in parts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj and Rayagada.

The latest weather bulletin has also forecast spells of intense rainfall in these areas.

Such weather conditions are likely between 1:45 pm and 4:45 pm this afternoon.
