Weather forecast: Rain, thunderstorm warning in 12 Odisha districts tonight

Bhubaneswar: As many as 12 districts in Odisha are likely to witness thundershower tonight, as per the latest weather bulletin.

Parts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar Koraput, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Rayagada are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail between 7 pm and 10 pm tonight, according to the forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department.

Thunderstorm alert was issued to Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar), Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Puri, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj and Rayagada, earlier today.
