Weather Forecast: Thunderstorm, lightning in 7 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several places in seven districts across Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm  along with lightning  today.

As per a bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre yesterday thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of  Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Angul,  Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak today.

Weather forecast & warning:    

From 8.30 AM of March 12 up to 8.30 of March 13 

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Koraput and Nabarangpur. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of the state.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak.

From 8.30 AM of March 13 up to 8.30 PM of March 14

Light to moderate rain or thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Gajapati and Ganjam. Besides, dry weather is very likely  to prevail over the rest parts of the state.
