Weather: Thunderstorm warning for 10 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued thunderstorm alert for 10 districts of Odisha by this evening.

“Moderate thunderstorm/lightning and light to moderate rainfall with gusty wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph are likely to occur over some parts of the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kandhamal, Balangir, Boudh, Kalahandi and Malkangiri between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm,” said the Bhubaneswar MeT in a bulletin.

Meanwhile, the heat wave continued to boil the western regions of the State with the temperature of above 40 degree Celsius in most of the districts.
