Weather update: Rain, lightning, gusty winds to lash 7 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar:  Thunderstorm along with lightning and gusty winds is likely to occur in several parts of seven districts across the state today.

The Regional MeT  Centre here predicted that rain accompanied with lightning is likely to lash the districts of Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Malkangiri till 7 PM today.

Besides, gusty winds with speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely to prevail over the districts during the period, the weathermen cautioned advising people to stay safe during the lightning.
