Weather Update: Thunderstorm, lightning in these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar:  Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to lash as many as eight districts in the state today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional MeT centre here, thunderstorm, lightning and light o moderate rainfall are likely to occur at one or two places in districts like Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul and Mayurbhanj.

Besides, gusty surface wind with speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely to prevail in these places today, said the weathermen.

The weather condition in the districts is likely to remain till 7 pm today.
