Weather warning: Heavy rainfall likely in 13 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The low pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal has resulted in spells of thundershower across many parts of Odisha these days.

Heavy rainfall is likely to lash parts of Deogarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Sambalpur and Sundergarh, as per the latest weather bulletin.

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorm and lightning in these areas, as well.

Such weather conditions are likely between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm this evening.
