Bhadrak: Weekend shutdown restrictions will be relaxed in Odisha's Bhadrak and Balasore districts on August 15 in view of the Independence Day celebrations.

The restrictions will be relaxed till 11 am on the day. The decision has been taken to allow citizens to unfurl the National Flag at their premises with the condition that not more than ten persons will congregate at any place.

All safety protocols such as social distancing, wearing masks, proper sanitization shall be duly maintained during the celebrations.

The Odisha Government had yesterday announced to relax the weekend shutdown restrictions in Ganjam, Khordha, Gajapati and Cuttack districts and Rourkela Municipal Corporation area till 11 am on the Independence Day.
