Weekly haats closed till Aug 31 in this Odisha district

Angul: All weekly haats/markets will remain closed in Odisha’s Angul district till August 31 in view of the rise in COVID-19 cases, an official order of the Collector said.

This apart, all shops in the district shall remain open from 07.00 AM to 02.00 PM from Monday to Friday, the order said.

Shops shall be sealed by the authorities if shopkeepers fail to maintain social distancing, the order added.

The district has so far witnessed 330 COVID-19 cases and two deaths due to the disease.
