West Bengal tourist swept away in Puri sea

Puri: A tourist from neighbouring West Bengal was swept away by the high tide while taking bath in the sea in Puri today.

The missing tourist has been identified as Ujjwal Das, 23, a resident of 24 Parganas in West Bengal.

According to reports, the youth was swept away in the sea in front of Swargadwar.

The on-duty lifeguards initiated search operation to rescue the youth in the water.

So far, the turbulent waves of the sea have claimed six lives in past three months in Puri.
