Western outfits banned for cultural festival at this Odisha university

Burla (Sambalpur): Western outfits are banned for students during a cultural festival at the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla.

As per the order of the VSSUT Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Banshidar Majhi, all the students of VSSUT, Burla, are instructed to wear Indian traditional dresses during the Techno-Cultural Festival-2024.

Western/vulgar/short dresses are strictly forbidden inside the University campus during the festival, the order stated.

Those not found in Indian outfits during the event will be sent back from the main gate and action will be taken by the university against the erring students for violating the order.
