A wild boar strayed into Ruchika market in Baramunda area of Odisha capital triggering panic among the denizens of the locality today.

The animal reportedly got stuck inside the garden of a house at Baramunda Census Colony.
On being informed, a special team from Nandankanan Zoological Park reached the spot and rescued the boar after eight hour-long effort.
"As many as 12 wild boars from Bharatpur strayed into OUAT premises yesterday. One of the animals got stuck in the city as dogs chased it," a Forest department staff said.
