Will comment after declaration of results: CM on Odisha panchayat polls

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that he will make his statement on the concluded panchayat polls in the state after declaration of election results.

It would not be appropriate for him to make a statement on the polls at this time, Patnaik told media persons here before beginning of Budget Session of the Odisha Assembly.

“I shall make my statement about the panchayat elections on the 25th of this month when the results are declared officially,” the CM said.

Speaking over the Budget Session, Patnaik said, “It is an important session and we are open to all discussion with opposition in matters relating to the budget.”
