With 1.70% TPR, Odisha adds 1107 new COVID-19 cases; 67 more die

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1107 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 64802 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.70%.

Khurda district registered highest 397 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (130) and Balasore (66).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 991182 with 10853 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 67 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 6697. Cuttack district recorded highest 18 fatalities.
