With 2 more COVID-19 deaths, Odisha’s toll nears 1900

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll is inching towards 1900-mark in Odisha after two more patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The two patients died while undergoing treatment at COVID hospitals.

“Regret to inform the demise of two numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh deaths were reported from Khordha and Sundargarh districts. With the new fatalities due to Coronavirus, the toll increased to 1,898 in the State.

Here’re details of 2 new COVID deaths in Odisha:

1.A 69 years old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

2.A 50 years old male of Sundargarh district.
