With surge of 3 new COVID-19 cases, Odisha’s total tally rises to 287

Bhubaneswar: Another three persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Mayurbhanj district taking total count to 287 in Odisha.

According to Odisha Government’s COVID dashboard updates, the tally in the state stands at 287 with 222 active cases so far.

With surge of three more cases in Mayurbhanj, the number in the district rose to 7 (all active).

Source said that the three positive persons are from Kaptipada Block in the district with travel history to Surat.

As per Information & Public Relations Department, the patients are 20-year-old male, 26-year-old male and 30-year-old male. They all are Surat returnees.

Earlier in the morning, 14 new COVID-19 cases were reported from Ganjam, Bhadrak and Sundargarh districts.
