Woman along with brother hacks husband to death in Odisha

Ganjam: In a bizarre incident, a woman along with her brother allegedly killed husband in Patadhara village under Jagannath Prasad police station limits in Ganjam district today.

The deceased, identified as Tulu Pradhan was an auto rickshaw driver and staying in Bhubaneswar whereas his wife and daughter were residing in the village.

Suspecting her husband’s involvement in extra marital affairs, the accused woman, Bobby used to engage in quarrel with Tulu. Around 15 days back, Bobby along with daughter went to her paternal house.

But yesterday Bobby called up Tulu and asked him to visit her paternal house. After Tulu reached Bobby’s place, both the husband-wife got into an argument over some issues. Later in a fit of rage, Bobby along with his brother, Jitu Badhehi hacked Tulu to death.

The two accused surrendered before police at the Bhanjanagar PS and narrated the details. Later police and scientific team visited the spot for an investigation and sent the body for post mortem.
