Woman attempts self-immolation on premises of SDJM court in Odisha
Berhampur: A woman attempted suicide by self-immolation on premises of the Court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) in Berhampur today.
Although, the identity of woman is unknown, sources said that attempter hails from the Regidi area of Ganjam district.

According to reports, a woman entered the premises of the SDJM Court, Berhampur, in the morning and tried to kill self by pouring kerosene all over her body.
The police personnel, who were present at the court, managed to foil her suicide bid and safely took her to the Baidyanathpur Police Station.
Following the incident, the local police started investigation to ascertain the reason behind her extreme step.
